This is an active multi-project engagement with Adobe's own team, rather than a single client site. Adobe DSN (Demo Systems Next, dsn.adobe.com) is Adobe's platform of interactive demo sites spanning industries from media and high-tech to automotive, telecom, CPG, retail, FSI, healthcare and travel, used to show prospective clients what is buildable on AEM.
The work covered migrating 5 of these sites from their legacy React stack to Adobe Edge Delivery Services with full desktop and mobile responsiveness in under 3 weeks, then retrofitting mobile responsiveness onto 6 previously migrated sites that lacked it.
The engagement also includes a backend servlet that reads JCR content from an Edge Delivery Services site, authored through Adobe's Universal Editor, and exports it as structured JSON. That JSON feeds an existing native mobile app, mapping web block structure directly onto native app components: a hero block becomes a native banner component, and so on.
The system is designed for extensibility. Supporting a new component type only requires adding a JSON mapping, with no code change required. It was built in collaboration with a senior full-stack developer for backend implementation depth; the core servlet logic is complete and currently being validated against each migrated site.
The servlet was delivered through architecture ownership and AI-agent-guided implementation: designing the mapping model and the service's shape, then directing AI-assisted development toward a production backend service.
What shipped
- 95+ Lighthouse scores on both desktop and mobile across the migrated sites
- Full AEM-based content authoring capability added on top of the migrated stack
- Legacy React teardown replaced with Edge Delivery Services block architecture
- Reads JCR content authored via Adobe's Universal Editor
- Exports structured JSON consumed directly by a native mobile app
- New component types are supported by mapping, not by code changes
Edge Delivery site
Content authored via Universal Editor
JCR servlet
Reads JCR content, maps blocks to components
Structured JSON
One mapping file per component type
