Migrated legacy site to AEM, optimizing performance and modernizing tools like loan calculators and lead forms.

HDFC is one of India's largest financial institutions, and I contributed to their digital transformation initiatives by modernizing customer-facing websites and migrating them to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The project involved handling high-traffic, business-critical pages while ensuring a smooth user experience across millions of users. My work included building calculators, lead forms, and performance-optimized pages that made it easier for customers to explore loan options and banking services. Beyond technical delivery, this role required careful attention to scalability, security, and compliance, given the sensitive nature of financial data and the size of the user base.
This project required balancing technical depth with financial industry compliance. I worked on migrating legacy modules into AEM while enhancing performance for faster page loads and a smoother user journey. My responsibilities included optimizing components, integrating calculators/forms, and ensuring cross-browser reliability for a large user base. The experience taught me the importance of maintaining quality at scale, since even small delays or errors could impact millions of customers. I also developed a stronger understanding of performance tuning, accessibility, and handling enterprise-level deployments, which are essential skills when working with mission-critical platforms.
